Blair Castle was built in the 1200s by John I Comyn, Lord of Badenoch and was known as “Cumming’s Tower”.

Blair Castle has been the stronghold of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl with royal visitors as e.g. Bonnie Prince Charlie and Queen Victoria.
